Who we are

SchoolLunch is a platform that lets schools offer online lunch ordering to their parent communities. Each participating school runs its own ordering site on our platform. By using SchoolLunch — whether browsing a school's menu, creating an account, or placing an order — you accept these terms.

Accounts

Parents create an account with an email address at their school's ordering site. An account belongs to a single school; if your children attend two participating schools, you register at each one separately. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the information you enter, including your students' names and classes.

Ordering and payment

• Orders are placed against the menu and lunch dates your school publishes. Menu items, prices, and order-by cutoffs are set by the school, not by SchoolLunch.
• Payment is processed by Stripe and goes directly to your school's own Stripe account. SchoolLunch never holds your funds and never sees or stores your card number.
• Each lunch date has a posted order-by cutoff. Once the cutoff passes, ordering for that date closes.

Cancellations and refunds

Orders can be cancelled for a full, immediate, automatic refund until the posted order-by cutoff; after the cutoff, orders are final. The details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

School responsibility for fulfillment

Each school (not SchoolLunch) is responsible for preparing and delivering the lunches ordered through its site. Questions about a specific meal — ingredients, substitutions, or anything that went wrong at lunchtime — should go to your school's lunch program.

Acceptable use

Use SchoolLunch only to order lunches for students at your school. Don't attempt to access other families' or other schools' data, interfere with the service, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
