Privacy Policy

What we collect

We collect only what's needed to run lunch ordering: your email address, your students' names and classes, and your order history. Specifically:

• Your email address, used to sign in and to send order emails.
• The first name and class of each student you add, so the kitchen knows who each lunch is for.
• Your order history — items, lunch dates, and amounts paid — so you and your school can see what was ordered.

Payment data

Card details are collected and processed by Stripe; SchoolLunch never sees or stores your card number. The only payment information on our side is a reference to the Stripe transaction so refunds and receipts work.

How your data is used and shared

Your data is shared with exactly two parties: your school (so the lunch program knows what to prepare and who it's for) and Stripe (to process your payment). We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers. Ever.

Retention and deletion

Order records are retained so schools have an accurate history of what was ordered and paid. If you want your account deleted, email hello@lunch.school and we'll take care of it.
